Your un.Īs for upgrading, it works like this: you find a friendly settlement on a planet, talk to one of the people with a yellow! For every two crew members you recruit, you will get this opportunity to upgrade. To upgrade your ship, you will need to recruit a crew.
As the player progresses through the story of Starbound, they'll unlock additional upgrades to their starter ship.
